Samuel Baynes is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Baynes Capital LLC, a premier private equity firm based in Dallas, Texas, specializing in energy and oil industry investments. He also serves as Principal of Baynes Investment Counsel, LLC.
With over 40 years of experience in business and finance, Mr. Baynes brings deep expertise in investment strategy, portfolio management, and executive leadership. He previously served as a PIA Portfolio Advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and sat on its Management Team Advisory Council. Earlier in his career, he was President and CEO of a geotechnical design/build firm focused on complex public and private projects.
Mr. Baynes holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University, with additional executive certifications from the University of Texas at Austin and Texas Tech University. He also holds Series 6, 7, 24, and 66 securities licenses.
